The only thing better than a snow day, is a holiday =^_^=! I have school Tomorrow and Tuesday, but after that, nothing! I'm so happy =^_^=! I've been so behind on my art and I don't like that =>.<= I need to keep practising so I can get better. Fortunately, it looks as if I won't have any homework over the break, keep you fingers cross that something doesn't get assigned in the next two days. With any luck I'll finally finish Sania and be on my way to working on a new character. I have another new series (two actually) that I've been muling over for the past few weeks.

New ideas mean new characters and I have four. Kari is a 16 year old girl who's going to get thrown in to some interesting story points in the second series. She has a sister, whom I had named, but forgot it, she gets involved in what turns out to be the third world war and she is about 18 when that happens. Rika starts out at about 14 years old and gets up to 16. She spans both series and certain story points focus around her. Then there is a male character who I had originally name Kenji, but I might change it, he is 19 during the first series and the story of that series will be told from his point-of-view, but the events focus around other characters.

The series itself is currently untitled and I'm working with onee and nii-nii to hash out some of the story elements. So, expect to see some art from that series soon. The style of the world is very art deco meets steam punk with a lot of gothic undertones in some of the fashion. I've been really obsessed with art deco styles for some reason of late. I have no idea if it has anything to do with this series or not, but I really love the shapes of the style. A lot of exaggerated curves (very round) with a few strategically used sharp angles. I find it quite beautiful =^.^=b

Anyway, I hope to put some art out over Thanksgiving. I'll try to at least get Sania out and maybe you'll see a bit of Rika and possibly Kari.
